Directions for Pancakes or Waffles
Each package of mix will produce 16 to 22 silver dollar pancakes or approximately three 6 1/2 inch traditional waffles
1 package of Weefulls Pancake and Waffle Mix
1 1/4 cup warm water
* optional: 1 beaten egg for added protein
* optional: 1 TBS preferred melted butter or oil
Combine all ingredients. Add additional 1/4 cup of water if batter is too thick. A thinner batter will produce lighter textured pancake or waffle.
Be sure to butter or use non-stick spray on pan or waffle iron.
Start with medium heat and adjust if necessary.
For silver dollar size pancakes use soup spoon to place batter in pan.
Cook waffles and pancakes until golden brown on both sides.
Let pancakes or waffles cool for a few minutes prior to serving as the fruits and vegetables retain heat.
Vegan variation: Omit egg. Use 1 package of mix + 1 1/2 cup water.
Have fun with the mix. Make your own version. Experiment with your favorite dairy or non-dairy milk in place of a portion of the water for added protein and nutrients.
Enjoy plain or with your favorite toppings.
Make extra for school days and refrigerate or freeze. Simply toast to reheat.
